Come and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and work alongside professional artist Frith Johnson. Frith is a qualified Fine Artist and Ceramic Designer and you can see her latest creations in the Frith Dimension Gallery on the floor above the Clay Garden Studio. Frith will be on hand for advice while you relax and play with the wonderful medium of clay.
Studio opening times
Pottery class: Thursday 6.30 pm- 9.30pm
Studio Pottery: Saturday 10am-1pm and 2pm -5pm

How does it work?

-Paint it in your favourite colours
-Glaze and fire to completion

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult and over the age of 10 please. Most work will be dinnerware safe and on most occasions dishwasher safe.
Prices

Clay £4 per kg
Bisque Firing £5 per cubic ft
Paint and glaze £12 per cubic ft
Glaze firing £6 per cubic ft
For example, a basic mug size sculpture will cost in the region of £55 which will include two sessions and two firings. Firing times are dependent on kiln usage and max capacity of the kiln. All work must be made and completed on the premises due to the instability of clay and its potential to explode in the kiln if not produced correctly.
